Find Your Sanctuary by Ross Constable

Inspired by Ross Constable’s desire to raise awareness of the healing properties of nature, he takes us into the heart of Manchester in this latest painting in search of our physcological sanctuary.  Framed by the beautiful willow, the geese swim serenely along Manchester’s waterways which traverse the city and take the viewer past the iconic pub, The Peveril of the Peak.  This famous pub, a sanctuary in it’s own right for some, leads visitors through a gate to the rear to another sanctuary where city goers can sit and meet.  All set amongst the bustle of the cities landmarks including Sankeys Soap, another reference to Ross’s earlier years, proves that there is sanctuary in nature in the most unlikely places.

Another incredibly thought provoking and positive composition by this exciting Cheshire artist.  Offered signed by the artist and beautifully framed in a hand painted frame.
