Description
Pink Fluffy Cows by Ross Constable
An original landscape painting by Ross Constable originally conceived en plein air in Mottram St Andrew in Cheshire. Pushing the boundaries of his landscape painting, Ross wanted to paint in situ and conceived this painting on the spot in inks. Exploring the meditative qualities of the the natural landscape, Ross once again wanted to showcase the immense positive impact that nature can have on mental health and the human psyche and demonstrates how the conscious mind can merge with the landscape as you are drawn into the scene.
Studying how Picasso approached painting wildlife and particularly a bull, Ross puts his own stamp on the cows that were present in the field at the time. The title, Pink Fluffy Cows, references a song titled Pink Fluffy Clouds which was pivotal in Ross’s early life when he found solace and escapism through music in a difficult time.
Ross’s work is bursting with joy and positivity as he brings his own journey to life and offers hope to all that view his paintings.

Professionally framed in a hand painted white frame and signed by Ross Constable.
