Birkenhead Docks by James Lawrence Isherwood
A rare original painting by Lawrence Isherwood depicting Birkenhead Docks on Merseyside. Dating from 1975, Isherwood exhibited in Merseyside in this year which led to a small number of paintings of the region which rarely come to market.
Signed and dated 1975 and titled to the reverse, this work comes from the estate of the late Pat White, his partner in the late 1970s who originally met the artist at an exhibition in Hoylake in this very year.
