Description
Still Life with Yellow Coffee Pot by Theodore Major
An expressive original oil painting by the late Wigan artist Theodore Major, depicting a vibrant still life. Bold, energetic brushwork and a rich palette of golden yellows, warm oranges and deep contrasting tones bring the composition to life. A wonderful example of Major’s distinct artistic vision, combining everyday subject matter with expressive style.
An especially rare and intriguing find; the reverse of the painting reveals a second original painting by Theodore Major, also a still life, making this a fascinating double-sided artwork. Two original compositions by the same artist in one piece, offering a particularly unusual opportunity for collectors and admirers of Major’s work.
