We went on our last picnic of the year, soon it would become cold but Grandpa said we should all go to Rostherne Mere. The day was beautiful warm and sunny so we saddled Prince to the Wagonette and called for Grandma, the Aunts and Miss Carter (who wore Pink), Mr Taylor (the Bank Manager) and to give Poor Dear Emily Martland a treat he persuaded her Mother to come and bring her and George and I said Goodbye until next Summer to a lovely place and the year was 1907.
