Description

The Fastest by Mackenzie Thorpe Sculpture

The racing cyclist presented in Mackenzie Thorpe’s sculpture speeds along, sucking in air as he powers towards the finish line.  Is he leading the race or slipstreaming  another competitor while awaiting the chance to overtake?  The combination of human physicality and mechanical know-how inspired Thorpe to create a collection of images to celebrate the Tour de Yorkshire in 2019, and ‘The Fastest’ was the first ever sculpture to be part of the race collection.

The Fastest Sculpture by Mackenzie Thorpe

Taken from a limited edition run of 195, each supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
