Born in 1968 in Santander, Spain, the artist grew up near the coast, spending much of his childhood by the sea painting watercolours. Cornella pursued formal art studies in Madrid, before travelling to Paris to deepen his skills and broaden his artistic style. He specialises in seascapes, often portraying sunsets, waves, and tranquil marine vistas. In this piece, the artist’s ability to catch detail and colour in such a small composition has produced a truly lovely work.
