An incredibly rare and sought after subject matter by Isherwood.  This rare work features the Scarisbrick Hotel on the famous Lord Street in Southport.  The Scarisbrick was place close to Isherwood’s heart, a hotel where he exhibited and also lived for a period of time, in fact a suite was named after the artist in the hotel.
