In ‘Neon Electronica Beta’ Christian Hook revisits one of his favourite subjects; the traditional Japanese Geisha. Painting this portrait from behind, Christian focuses on the elegance and eroticism of the only exposed area of skin, the back of the neck. The image is vivid with a colour palette of red, yellow, orange and blue decorating the pure white kimono and the Geisha’s chic chignon. In a new departure the artist has experimented with and infused this contemporary artwork with bright neon paint. This piece is available as framed and presented as a paper on board edition of 95.
