In ‘Neon Electronica Alpha’ Christian Hook revisits one of his favourite subjects; the traditional Japanese Geisha. Painting this portrait from behind, Christian focuses on the elegance and eroticism of the only exposed area of skin, the back of the neck. The image is vivid with a colour palette of the rich golden yellow of the beautiful kimono and its decorative touches of red, white and blue. In a new departure the artist has experimented with and infused this contemporary artwork with bright neon paint. This piece is available as a framed and presented as a paper on board edition of 95.
