Tony Owens

Born in the United Kingdom in 1973, Tony Owens is a self-taught still life painter whose work is inspired by the rich traditions of the Dutch Golden Age. Over the past two decades, he has dedicated himself to mastering classical painting techniques, developing a distinctive style that combines historical influences with a fresh, contemporary perspective.

Drawing particular inspiration from 17th-century Dutch masters such as Willem Kalf and Pieter Claesz, Owens is fascinated by their use of light, texture, and symbolism.
