Caro Saint Vire

Caro Saint Vire is a UK-based seascape and skyscape artist whose evocative oil paintings capture the drama, atmosphere and emotional power of the natural world. Working in a distinctive style that bridges realism and abstraction, she creates luminous, expressive landscapes that celebrate the ever-changing interplay of light, weather and space.

Born into a family of artists, Caro was immersed in creativity from an early age. She graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Fine Art from the University of Brighton and further developed her practice through postgraduate studies at Chelsea College of Art and Design. Her artistic foundations, combined with a lifelong fascination with nature, have shaped a body of work that is both technically accomplished and deeply atmospheric.

Living for a period in the Swiss Alps gave Caro a profound appreciation for vast landscapes, dramatic skies and the emotional resonance of open space. Extensive travels throughout Europe and the United States further enriched her visual language, inspiring a continuing exploration of light, movement and mood. Now based on the south coast of England, she draws daily inspiration from the sea, expansive horizons, and the spectacular sunrises and sunsets that define the coastal landscape.
