In the Press
Last updated onThis month we have been delighted to have had a number of features in the county magazines written about us with our Twentieth Anniversary just around the corner in May. Lancashire Life has written a wonderful article detailing our journey since our foundation in 2005 which hopefully you will catch.
The second feature is on Giles in the ‘Meet the Expert’ section which shows Giles holding a wonderful original oil painting by L S Lowry in the gallery. As most of our sales of blue chip artworks happen off market, if you are interested in works of this calibre do contact the gallery and arrange a meeting with Giles. This level of painting very rarely makes the website as they are sold beforehand so a meeting to discuss your collecting requirements is always a good idea.
The third feature in Lancashire Life Magazine showcases our upcoming Sherree Valentine Daines exhibition at the Heskin Gallery. To celebrate our twentieth year in business, we will be welcoming the award winning impressionist artist to the gallery which is a great honour. With collectors including the late Queen Elizabeth II and many sports stars, it is a thrill to have Sherree back at the gallery to celebrate with us. We do hope both old and new collectors will be able to come along and celebrate with us for an evening of art and friendship.
On the exhibition front, several features have been produced this month on our new Wilmslow artist Ross Constable who will be exhibiting with us on 8th May. Cheshire Life have run a wonderful four page feature on Ross and his amazing life changing journey which took him from being bitten by a mosquito in Thailand to contracting Dengue Fever and a permanent brain injury.
Ross has used this incredibly difficult chapter in his life to focus on art as part of his recovery so we are thrilled that there has been so much interest in his work and his debut exhibition with us in Cheshire. We have collectors flying in from all over Europe so it should prove to be a fabulous event.
