Lucy Manfredi

Lucy Manfredi was born near Stockport in 1974 and had a fascination with art and creative pursuits from an early age.

Continuing with the arts throughout her education, Lucy graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in Fine Art Illustration with Animation and went on to complete a Masters in Brighton.

After studying, Lucy worked in several artistic sectors before deciding that the medium of painting and drawing was her true calling. In 2018, Lucy was elected as a Member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Art (Manchester Academy of Fine Arts) and now works from her studio in Cheshire.

Already a master of tone and composition, Lucy captures the humour of Northern Life beautifully and it has already set excitable tongues wagging in the art industry. Leading northern art dealers who have helped to raise awareness of many other leading northern artists have been raving about Lucy’s potential and when interviewed for his 2024 retirement feature in the Manchester Evening News, the legendary Hale art dealer Bill Clark who is well known for showcasing original works by L S Lowry, was asked for his tip for a rising star. He made no hesitation, Lucy Manfredi he said.
